Meadow Creek sits in the beautiful mountain environment of Buena Vista, Colorado. You can expect plenty of high-altitude sunshine during the day, but temperatures drop rapidly once the sun goes down, so dressing in layers is essential. Because Colorado weather can be unpredictable, come prepared for potential afternoon rain showers or sudden wind shifts.

Stage 2 fire restrictions are in effect in Buena Vista and at Meadow Creek - our team takes this restriction extremely seriously. Let's work together to ensure we collectively show up responsibly to protect our communities.

Under Stage 2 restrictions, the following are strictly prohibited:

• No campfires of any kind
• No charcoal grills of any kind
• No full-sized propane grill, charcoal, butane or fires of any kind (small propane grill ok)
• No smoking, except within an enclosed vehicle or building
• No fireworks or any kind of explosives
• No wood-pellet smokers
• No tiki torches
• No sky lanterns

At nearly 8,000 feet, Meadow Creek is high! The conditions are beautiful but demanding.

Dehydration happens much faster at high elevations. To stay in the game, you need to drink more water than you think. Don’t wait until you’re thirsty. Keep sipping electrolytes and water all day long to avoid altitude sickness.

UV Intensity: Thin air means less protection from UV rays. Sunburns can happen in minutes, even on cloudy or cool days, so be prepared with sun protection essentials:

• Sunscreen & Lip Balm: Apply early and often.
• Wearable Shade: Pack wide-brimmed sun hats and high-quality sunglasses.
• Coverage: Light, breathable layers can provide extra protection from direct exposure.

If you start to feel dizzy or overheated, head to the medical tent. Staff are available 24/7 to help.

ESSENTIALS: Wristband, Camping or Parking Pass, Valid ID, Credit Card (Meadow Creek is cashless)

PERSONAL ITEMS & CLOTHING: Comfortable footwear, sun protection, layers, rain gear, and personal hygiene items + prescription medications. Don't forget sun protection and bug spray too!

IN CAMP ESSENTIALS: All the things you need to sleep and reset comfortably. If you are camping, a small propane grill is permitted, but leave any large sound systems, glass containers, and large knives at home. 

REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE: Staying hydrated is crucial, WE’RE HIGH UP HERE. Water refill stations will be available throughout the event grounds, and a reusable water bottle + stainless steel cup will be available for sale.

And don’t forget your FLOATIES for the pond!

Please follow all local traffic directions and reference the arrival map for the smoothest arrival to Meadow Creek.

If you need to pick up a wristband, camping, or parking pass - check in at the Box Office at the Main Entrance. You must have a valid government-issued ID to pick up your passes.

If you want to camp next to your friends, your vehicles must enter the toll lanes at the exact same time unless you have group camping.

All guests must wear an official Admission Wristband to enter Field of Vision II - no exceptions.

An official festival admission wristband is mandatory for entry and must be worn at all times by all guests over the age of five. Depending on your checkout selection, your physical wristbands and vehicle passes will either be shipped to you in July or held at the Box Office for Will Call pickup. Please note that all vehicles, gear, and bags are subject to a security checkpoint and inspection upon arrival at the gates.

Ensure your wristband is securely fastened on your wrist prior to arriving. If damaged, a replacement fee of $50 applies. Lost wristbands cannot be replaced and be careful not to over-tighten!

All vehicles entering Meadow Creek require a valid camping or parking pass.

Carefully peel the parking sticker from its backing and affix it to the inside of your windshield, preferably on the upper left-hand corner (driver's side).

Ensure parking pass is clearly visible from the outside for quick verification by parking attendants.

Follow all posted signs and staff directions to your designated parking area.

NOTE: All vehicles and RVs will be searched before entry into the campgrounds. Please review all prohibited items before arriving to keep the check in process as smooth and seamless as possible.

The campgrounds will open to Thursday Early Arrival vehicle pass holders only from 12:00pm to 11:59pm on Thursday, August 14th.

The campgrounds will open to all others at 8:00am on Friday, August 15th.

There is a dedicated walking & biking path for those who are interested in walking or biking to Downtown Buena Vista! It's a short one-mile path from the exit point at Meadow Creek (the northeast corner of the East Meadow) to Main Street. To get downtown:

• Exit Meadow Creek at the northeast corner of the east meadow (close to vehicle tolls). You will see a sign that points out the walk/bike path.
• Walk or bike east on CR 350 for 800 ft (.1 miles) and take a right/South on Waters Avenue.
• Walk or bike east on Waters Avenue for .2 miles until you reach a slight curve in the road, where you'll continue on Brookdale Avenue for another 500 ft (.1 miles).
• At this point you will turn right/South (if going towards down town) on North Pleasant Avenue.
• After another 500 ft (.1 miles), take a left/East on Arkansas St which will curve into North Gunnison Avenue. Continue on North Gunnison for .2 miles until you reach West Main Street, where you will take a left/East towards downtown Buena Vista.

Please follow all walk/bike path signage, and travel safely along the route. Watch out for local traffic and please respect our local neighbors and one another by staying in the road, keeping your speed down, and being mindful of your surroundings.

To return to Meadow Creek, follow the same path in reverse order. All patrons returning to the event site must re-enter through the main entrance. See a visual map below.

Need to leave site or want to explore beautiful Downtown BV? A local shuttle will be available for transport between Meadow Creek and Downtown Buena Vista and South Main. 

Pick up points are: 

• Field of Vision Box Office
• Downtown Railroad Ave Parking Lot
• The Surf Hotel

The shuttle will run Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12pm Noon - 2am.

Free water refill stations are distributed across the venue and campgrounds to keep everyone safely hydrated. Showers will be available for purchase across the campgrounds for $10 per shower - shower pods are located in both the East and West Campgrounds.

For peace of mind, pre-order secure, spacious venue lockers that feature built-in power banks for keeping your devices charged throughout the weekend.

A Venue Locker is $39 for the weekend - outfitted with secure combination locks and stocked with power banks capable of quickly giving your phone a full charge. Lockers are 8” x 12” x 18" to fit day bags, purses, and other essentials with ease.

Forgot something? No worries — the general store’s got your back. From apparel, snacks, and personal hygiene to chargers and camping gear, it’s your one‑stop shop for festival survival. Stay fueled and comfy without missing a beat!

Locations: Main Street, the Venue, & the West Campgrounds.

A diverse selection of local food trucks and beverage vendors will be stationed throughout the venue and campgrounds. Because Meadow Creek is entirely cashless, you will need a credit card, debit card, or mobile payment to purchase food and drinks. 

Campers over the age of 21 are welcome to bring a limited personal supply of canned beer, canned seltzers, or boxed wine, but outside liquor and glass bottles are completely prohibited.

ACCESSIBLE CAMPGROUNDS & VENUE ENTRANCE: Look for the accessible entrance or “Access Lane” - which is exclusively for patrons with accessibility needs.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING: All parking requires a ticket. Please note that all vehicles that park in the accessible parking area must have a government-issued accessible plate or placard upon entering the parking area.

ACCESSIBLE VIEWING PLATFORM: Patrons seeking to use ground-level reserved accessible viewing areas or the Accessible Viewing Platform are welcome to have companions with them.

Meadow Creek enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy for animals, and any patrons arriving with a pet will be turned away at the gates. Open bonfires, charcoal, and wood-pellet smokers are forbidden due to wildfire risks, though small propane camping stoves are perfectly fine. 

Please respect the campground limits and double check all prohibited items.
